Dried Mango with Sugar

This treat is distinctly sweet, but never cloying. The slices keep the natural juiciness of mango and its tropical aftertaste. Perfect with a cup of fruit tea, or on its own as a snack.

Mango with sugar has a lovely texture — not overly sugary and not too firm. The slices are large, from hand-picked fruit. And this is genuinely dried mango, not candied peel. During drying, the fruit releases its own sugars, so a few slices make a wonderful alternative to cakes and pastries.
