The lokum's "shell" is made from orange syrup with a white pastille interlayer. The filling is orange juice. The lokum is sweet, but not too sweet, balanced by the freshness of orange. The texture is very pleasant - moderately chewy, not too firm and not too soft. The filling has a white, tender pastille with vanilla flavour.
The lokum has a light tang and a very beautiful orange colour. The perfect combination of tang and sweetness! The vanilla pastille tastes like classic white marshmallow, only with a denser and less airy texture.
